Yellow Belly Bear Toast
(Mama bear filling baby bear’s belly)
Makes 4 servings
What you will need:
4 Slices of bread (or more, depending on quantities needed)
4 eggs (or more)
4 Tbsps of Butter (or more)
4 tsps of Jelly (add as neccesary, jelly fans!)
Steps:
- Preheat griddle
- Butter both sides of the bread
- Cut out a bear shape on the bread with a cookie cutter (or if you don’t have a bear, use any shape you’d like) and set onto the griddle.
- Crack an egg and open it over the space in the bread that is shaped like a bear (or whatever shape you used)
- Cook till the "Bear Belly" is opaque (not clear so that you can’t see the griddle through it), then flip.
- Cook until toast is a desired taste.
- Repeat steps for all the bread you are cooking. You can make multiple pieces of toast at the same time.
"Baby Bears":
Take the cutouts from th bread and toast them. Spread jam, butter, or whatever you would like on your mini toasts and enjoy with a glass of orange juice.
